Dynamic block hide lines while stretching?

Hello All,

I have a 10 foot rail with fasteners on it. I am trying to make the length dynamic and allow the user to strech the length as needed during a layout but I am trying to find a way to hide the fasteners that get left behind?

If someone can modify the attached file or provide instructions if this is possible it would be a huge help!

This is exactly the effect I was looking for.

So to achieve this you made an array and stretch action?

Would you mind making a brief explaination on how to properly set up the array?

Okay I think I figured it out.

The array is action is first made and attached to the distance parimiter which sets the "hide wall"
