Issues with Converting PDF's to DWF's

Hello All,

I am having issues with converting PDFs to DWF's.

Until July 2021, I used to convert PDFs into DWF's using the "Autodesk DWF Writer for 2D" driver. But that function just stopped working all of sudden.

Now, I started using Autodesk Design Review (ADR) program to convert. where I import the PDF's and save as DWF's but the resulting DWF's are of different size than the one exported using the driver above. When converting through this program the sheet name come's out to be "7200X4800x24".

Also when I compare the DWF's created through the above two methods they don't align properly, DWF created ADR is massive compared to DWF created through driver.

Any thoughts on how can I fix this?

Thanks

Why did it stop? What have you tried to fix it? It's just a printer driver in Windows, works fine. Dig a little deeper.

Nothing to "fix": you are using two different programs/drivers to create DWF files that do not perform the same as they were developed by different teams for different objectives.

Not sure why it stopped, but every time I try to print through the driver, a dialog appears saying " Flatenning the Image" and the bar never moves.

Is there I can download the driver. At the moment I only have it on the Remote server, but not on thecomputer itself.

The link doesn't take to the driver per se, but to general Autodesk programs and I already have ADR program installed on my machine.

Hi,

Alexander here,

Facing same issue (Issues with Converting PDF's to DWF's) The Autodesk Design Review (ADR) program is what I've been using to convert files. The PDFs of my site  I import and save as DWFs are different sizes than the ones exported by the driver above. As a result of converting through this program, the sheet is named "7200X4800x24".

Make sure that you have set the correct settings for the conversion process in ADR. Check the DPI settings, compression options, and other relevant settings to ensure that they match those used in the driver.
