We have an issue with opening DWF files in Sharepoint using IE.
Until recently the files were checked out in SharePoint, then opened into the full blown Design Review application (not in the browser/plugin. The users could then mark up the file and click save, and it would save directly back to SharePoint.
Over the past few weeks, this has changed so the files now open in browser when using IE, or download when using Chrome or Edge. Not sure what has changed besides Win updates. This is happening in both on-prem SP and SP Online.
Anyone know how to force the files to open in the full application rather than browser window?
Appreciate any help from anyone that has had similar issues.
