How to Search for Solutions

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums – we’re glad you are here! With dozens of product forums, and countless threads of information on all of our products – it’s worth a search to see if your question has already been answered.

There’s two main ways to search on the Forums:

  1.  This box searches the entire Autodesk Knowledge Network. If you put in an error without a product name you may get results from several products.
  2.  This box searches the product forum or product category you are currently viewing.

Once you’ve put in your search query, your results will be returned, sorted by best match.

The green check marks on the side of some search results means a user like yourself has marked that as an Accepted Solution – try it yourself to see if that solution works, give the post a like to show it helped you, or make a new post if your question hasn’t been solved yet.

There’s many ways to sort posts – perhaps your question involves a new release, or update? Sort by Date in order to see all topics with your keywords in chronological order. You can also sort by location on the boards, the author of to posts, and more!
