Over the past two weeks, I shared updates about a series of behind-the-scenes improvements aimed at enhancing the Autodesk Community experience. Here’s the first update and here’s the second one.
Starting this Thursday at 4PM PST, we’ll begin the final phase of our migration. This round is expected to wrap up by Monday morning (PST). Similar to the last round, you won’t see any changes to the new design, but you will see minor changes to your experience.
What’s Happening?
As part of this update, we’ll be moving content from a few existing boards into a more modern structure.
Impacted boards:
They are all English language boards.

- 3ds Max Forum
- Inventor Programming - iLogic, Macros, AddIns & Apprentice
- Fusion Manufacture

- Civil 3D Forum
- Fusion Design, Validate & Document
- AutoCAD Forum
- Revit Architecture Forum
- Inventor Forum
Changes
- Temporary duplicates: During this time, you may see duplicate versions of these boards across the homepage, navigation menus, “All forums”, and industry pages.
- Read-only mode: Like the previous rounds, the older versions of the boards will be set to read-only. You’ll still be able to search and view them, but actions like posting, replying, or upvoting will be disabled.
- New boards open for engagement: The new boards will be fully active, so you can continue participating in discussions without interruption. However, you will be unable to find older content which is yet to be moved. This restriction will only last while the migration is in progress.
- Automatic redirects: Once a board migration is complete, we’ll redirect traffic from the old board to the new one to ensure a smooth experience, even if you're using saved links or bookmarks.
We’re running all migrations simultaneously to speed up the process, and we’ll be monitoring everything closely throughout the weekend.
After this migration round, we’ll shift focus back to prioritized improvements and bug fixes guided by usage patterns, community activity insights and user feedback to enhance your experience and support key business goals.
