I've worked on SAC for some time. It is possible to see the preview of assembly that has surface targets by creating surface targets and varying it's elevation to simulate the existing ground.
The thing is, the created surface target(existing ground) is indicated on the preview window only in a level(the same elevation throughout the section) but in practice the existing surface is rough. So it is impossible to see some assembly which depends on the side slope of the ground in the preview window.
Let me elaborate this, I want to construct road side "furrow ditch" on high cut section, if and only if the side slope of the ground exceeded 25%.
It is impossible to see this furrow ditch on the preview window even if I constructed it since the existing ground indicated is level. So I have to try the assembly whether it work correctly or not by importing and creating a corridor.
This is tedious. There must have been a way to create rough surface in SAC preview window by user.
