Implement a feature to allow users to read and label 3D alignment length at certain station/section.

In my opinion, this would be an essential labeling that should definitely be implemented in Civil3D.

The true lengths (3D lengths) are extremely important, especially for tunnel and railroad construction. I hope that this idea will be implemented in the near future. Thanks to @michal.holda. for this post!

I think this needs to be clarified.

Alignments are 2D at elevation zero.

Do you want to label a surface or profile st a specific location on the alignment?

You mentioned length. Do you mean between two points?

I'm with @ChrisRS on this. Alignments are 2D, so what are you actually wanting to read/label? It sounds like you're wanting to read/label a profile in plan view, which is already available.
