Feature Line - Zoom to PI's/Elevation Points from Elevation Editor and vice versa

Being able to 'zoom to' a selected point in Elevation Editor to the corresponding PI/Elevation point is something that is asked a lot during training courses. It would be very helpful to have similar possibilities/behaviour we have in AutoCAD Map 3D (Data Table -> see second screenshot) and AutoCAD Plant 3D (Data Manager). This would make working between Elevation Editor and the Feature Line in the drawing so much more User-Friendly, especially with complex geometry of feature lines...

Edit: FYI I know the Zoom To function to an elevation point is integrated in the Elevation Editor, but it could have an update to e.g. be able to set the zoom factor or something like that. The reason for the post was merely for the other way around, being able to 'select' a PI/Elevation point in drawing and selecting the corresponding row in Elevation Editor.

@pieter_haeck understood. I imagine this working similar to when one hovers over a polyline grip, they are presented with a menu. Doing so with a feature line vertex might include a "Select In Elevation Editor" option.

@TimYarrisThis seems like a nice and consequent (similar to AutoCAD) manner to get the rows of interest selected in the Elevation Editor. What when multiple vertices are selected? Right-click menu? 🤔

In addition to this, feature lines would become more user friendly if the scroll bar of the Elevation Editor wouldn't move to the bottom every time a point is edited. This especially applies to feature lines with a large number of points.

@santhoulakis , that (maintaining the position of the Elevation Editor when a point is edited) is something we are working on. You should see that in an upcoming release of Civil 3D.

I too would LOVE the ability to select a featureline in plan view, find a vertex and have it automatically hilite that vertex in the elevation editor.  I'd go so far as to have the OPTION of automatically hiliting it when a vertex grip is selected.

I'm curious why the Idea of this topic wasn't implemented at the same time, since it's a small added feature of what has been recently implemented. Like you mentioned in one of your above posts, it would be nice to have the option in the menu when you hover over a feature line grip.
