Feature Line Glyph - Ability to change its color

Feature Line Glyph - Ability to change its color

The change of color should be possible, to be in line with other settings already possible for other interface elements (see screenshot below).

Why is this important?

Depending on the template one uses, there are always chances that e.g. used Surface styles with triangles have approx. the same color as the grip. In these situations, the Feature Line Glyph 'disappears' in the maze of Surface triangle edges.

So, changing the color of the grip in a different color than the ones used in Surface Styles (templates may not always be altered cfr. company policies, standards,...) makes the feature line vertices more 'readable' in those situations.

The color does not change when go through each station. The glyph still in green. How to change this to another color?

@knuwan

It's the purpose of this post/Idea 😉

It can't be changed in the current version(s). The purpose of this post is to ask Autodesk to provide the possibility of changing the color of the glyphs in a (near) future release.

You can start by liking this post in order to raise its importance, which will hopefully result in a higher priority 😎

@TimYarrisAny update on this? Moreover the above mentioned arguments, this would be also very useful for people with color-blindness (aparently 10% of the men)... I recently had a Customer that faced this problem. Thank you in advance to take this in stronger consideration. Greetings, Pieter

Hi @pieter_haeck . No update on this as of today. Your argument about colorblindness certainly adds weight to the requirement.
