Offer an intelligent hatch object that has parameters for a material structural depth, that we can use to create a Datum surface below our site grading FG surface for Earthwork takeoffs. The hatch object would continually dynamically reference the FG surface elevation as we do our grading.
Then we can "Smart Hatch" our FG ground cover (paving, sidewalk, topsoil areas, etc.) with the different material section depth and create a Datum surface for earthwork.
The "smart hatch" object should also have the ability to quickly create a Bid Tab table.
