I really do like the connected alignment, but there are a couple things I would like to see added.
- Cul-De-Sac functionality. Being able to create a connected between two parallel alignments with 3 curves. (curve-reverse-curve, or curve-spiral-curve) this should also help with knuckles.
- Improve corridor targeting on overlap. Corridors have a hard time targeting the overlap portion of a connected alignment both vertically and horizontally. If it is the baseline there seems to be no problem.
- Ability to add a curve-curve or curve-tangent-curve to help with modeling off/on ramps.
