y of Imagery

I am currently working on a Civil 3D model that has images referenced into the file.  I occasionally see rough pixilation in the image background.  Also when plotting to both pdf or an HP plotter this rough pixilation appears in the completed plot, eg.

I have changed work station from a desktop to a Laptop Dell precision 7510.  I did not encounter this problem with the desktop PC.

Kindly suggest remedies.

Hi Dave

Thanks. Unfortunately I neglected to add that I am running Civil 3D 2016 with SP 3.

I'll see If I can uninstall SPs

Johan,

The Service Packs are not a problem in 2016, just 2017.

Graphics are the biggest problem in AutoCAD right now. Usually whenever there's a problem, turning off Graphic Acceleration fixes it. but I don't know if that'll work in your case.

Hi Dave

Thanks

I tried turning off the hard ware acceleration, but the problem persists.

I vaguely recall solving a similar problem before by a complete uninstall followed by a clean install. Don't really want to do that though.

Hi Dave

The Customer support team identified the problem to be related to the installation of Hotfix 4 for AutoCAD 2016.  Once I uninstalled Hotfix 4 the problem was resolved.

Thanks for your assistance.

Regards

Johan
