I am working in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 and have found that when I change the transparency of layers in my viewport, it has no effect on any of my hatches. It makes no difference if the hatch already has a set transparency to it or not, and yes, my "Plot Transparency" is checked for the layout. Is there a reason it is doing this that I can override? Or are hatches simply not affected by VP transparency?
I have had nothing but problems using transparency.... I gave up on ever trying to use it again... My suggestion is to throw transparency in the garbage and control your line thickness and hatch lightness in your layers
