short straights between reverse curves

Hello engineers, I have an alignment that some parts needs reverse curves, is it wise to add short straights between reverse curves or the super-elevation transitions can still be smooth even without the short straights, will really appreciate your responses, thanks

Kind of depends on the use and design speed. AASHTO and probably many DOT's in the states would want them to be a minimum length. This is so the driver eases into the opposite turn.
