Hello-

Watch this short video.  It steps through the process of setting up your drawing to handle corridor point code labeling in your section views.  There are several little settings you have to dial in for your subassembly point codes / associated code set style, and Section Label Set.

I hope this helps.

HI,  I  saw this solution  couple times ago.

But for my - it's not working and I  really not know what i make bad.

Something going wrong,  when i  try make any  section / corridor points /  style  -  it's always empty style in corridor point label style.

I attach  2 file, where u  can see some big problem  with compatibility witch  older template drawing seetings.

On 2018 it's work  fine

When i  try make the same steps using our company template (2017 ) - it's fail.

Futhermore, is not the only one big problem with thiss issue -  here i  had the same problem ( but witch pipe)

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-civil-3d-forum/c3d-2018-pipe-network-change-elevation-automat...

If autodesk make nothing with compatibility ,  will  be so f*** nice to write temaplate sheet again  and agian with new version  on civil....

Hello-

Since you have your section views already created and you have created your Section View Label Set that specifies the new Corridor Points style label you created (per the video).

To get your section views to update, you need to run a command that will convert the default Code Set Style Labels to the new corridor Points Style Label.  Type: CORRIDORSECTIONLABELSCONV

TYPE: ALL

SPECIFY: CORRIDOR POINTS STYLE LABELS

You will notice all your current labels in your section views will disappear.  Just select one of the Section Views and right click and chose Section View Group Properties.  Then Under the sections tab, add new corridor points label set to your corridor.

Please watch workflow below:

test9.gif

Jeff's video I sent earlier discusses this important step at 6min 17 seconds...

I would also re-watch it to make sure your .dwt is set up correctly the next time you create multiple section views...there are command settings that were not set in the 2017 file you sent.  Again this is only applicable for new section view creation.

Hi LafPL

Please see attached screencast to show the solution to your question. I used two of your drawings as examples.

Quick Summary

  • You need to fix settings command in your Section ViewOnePieceOfThePuzzle.jpg
  • Update your code set style, Under Point and Label Style.
  • Make 2 Label style one for point code and second for description.

For further information about Cross Section via Surface see this thread which I discuss XS samples.

Hope you guys learn something.

thx for repplay but your solution it's not good enaugh

1st.  - u edit style of corridor , not label style.

In  Jeff wideo we know, how should this work ( at. 6.00)  -  style defined only where label must show, but label style define how its should looks.

In your solution i  can't stagger label  ( Jeff viedeo 3.33)

Hi Jowennl,

Thanks for the video regarding corridor code set styles to show up in the section view band.

In that video you didnt showed how you created natural ground levels in the same vertical line as of corridor point code location labels.

Can you please guide how to do that ?

Regards
