Hi,

I am trying to publish the Civil 3D surface to Revit Topography through Collaborate-Publish Surface option. Publish surface process is completing successfully but when the team is trying to link the .shared file to Revit, following error shows

I have tried all the workarounds but nothing works. Have anyone faced similar issue, kindly help.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your patience. The Link Toposolid feature should now function as expected when linked from ACC Docs. However, please take note that DWG files uploaded between July 10 and August 12 don't work. To resolve this issue, kindly reupload the DWG file to ACC and link it to Revit once again

Can you check to see if you are now able to link the toposurface into Revit from  ACC?

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Peter,

Glad that it's now working! 🙂

I will create a new topic on the Revit Architecture forum for the recent issue you've brought to my attention.

Hi Wendy,

Can you please sende me the link or put the link here, so that other can give input.

Out of my perspective as a Civil 3D user it is a major issue.

Peter

Hi Peter,

Here's the thread from the Revit Architecture board regarding the error you encountered.

Revit 2023: the Civil 3D terrain data can be inserted without any problems (see attachment)
Revit 2024: the same Civil 3D terrain data cause an error message (see attachment)

Suggestion for a solution: besides Toposolid import allow Topography import
No Civil 3D user will ever use the toposolld commands in Revit ... .
Stay with your workflow described in the HELP under Site Design!
