Profile labels disappear after using "Delete Entity"

I am generating a 3 line profile for a proposed street with Civil3D 2008. When I use "Delete Entity" in Profile Layout Tools to remove a segment of the profile where the curb return transition starts (I am piecing in my curb return profiles with viewports in the final profile view for the intersection), all of my station & elevation and slope labels disappear downstream of the removed section. This is a simple straight line profile with a couple of grade breaks. After deleting the segment, if I select the profile, the remaining segments still highlight as if they part of the same profile, but the PVI stationing (in the panorama window) gets truncated at the location where the segment was removed. There is no stationing information for the remaining profile segment after the removed part.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes those downstream sections of the profile are
part of the profile, but since you now have a gap, anything downstream cannot be
labelled.  You must have a continuous profile for it to be labelled from
start to end.

Matt...that's kind of what I thought. Thanks for the reply.

That is messed up. the profile line and tangents still appear. If that info is still displayed, why do the labels go away? Why have the icon "delete entity" if it really means end profile here. I have multiple gaps in my profile, and now will need to create more than one profile? Not cool 😞
