Map cogo point user properties to Survey database

I would like to have the ability for an import of points from a dwg into a survey database to include any user defined properties from the dwg.  Currently we can have user defined properties in our drawings, and we can define user defined properties for points in our survey database, but they won't map from the drawing to the database.

Yes I can confirm it has been like this for a while (when you try to push direct from dwg). My work-a-round is to export a point file with the correct point file format with custom UDPs from the dwg, remove the points in the DWG, and then import directly to the survey database specifying the custom point file format in the dwg you had the points in originally.  When you do it this way, Survey Database will let you specify the custom point file format for import to SD with the UDPs and will be pushed back into the Dwg with the UDPs as you want.

Extra work sure, but it works 🙂 Maybe post to C3D Ideas Board that the above is not efficient?
