What is the intermediate software that can easily sync objects, surfaces, models etc. between civil3d and revit?
How to sync a civil 3d drawing with units and zone with Revit?
You can download the Autodesk Desktop Connector for best practices in offline and online sharing projects between Revit and C3D.
If you’re creating a surface on C3D, for example, it can easily be shared on DOCs and openned in Revit just choosing the project in Link Topography
You could always use the Shared Reference Point tool in the Toolbox.

If you don’t have a360 then you cannot import directly from c3d
instead use a combination of 3d faces (as regions) via dwg export in a generic mass family or ifc exports for pipe work.
corridors and surfaces also as 3d solids.
forget toposurfaces from c3d without a360. Revit will mess up the triangulation if you have walls, kerbs or banks.
search in here or revit forum as I’ve explained the method a few times before.
