Create Ground Data panel missing from ribbon

Hi all! I recently downloaded a 3 year trial with AutoCAD 2018 as a student and I am finding that I am missing the Create Ground Data panel from the ribbon. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use the menu load command to unload civil and reload the c3d.cuix file

First, welcome to the Forums!

A couple of simple things to check:

Are you sure you're in Civil 3d and haven't accidentally launched "Civil 3d as AutoCAD" ?

Rt. click on the Ribbon > Show Panels > is Create Ground Data checked?

Thank you!

Yes, I've launched as Civil 3D -- and there is no Create Ground Panel option.

Have you tried @Jay_B suggestion of right clicking on the ribbon and looking in the show panels to see if the create ground data is checked?

I think the reset option is the only way to fix it if its missing fundimental features like workspace

Please right click on the desktop icon used to launch the program, choose "Properties", click on shortcut tab.

Then post a screen shot of this dialog here.
