corridor and daylight line targeting surface

the only topo i have is edge of pavement and dr/wy and utility poles. There is no other topo infor such as GB, FL, etc...

i have generated a corridor and my daylight line of the corridor is targeting te wrong surface . The blue line to the right of the white line is incorrect because that is causing my daylight line to target a surface underneath my edge widening portion. The blue line to the left of the white line is what i want. so how do i resolve my corridor to target surface to trhe left of white line.

as shown in picture.

Hello!

Would you mind sharing the drawing?

I usualy don't use daylight at all, i just "slope to surface" and presto 🙂
My 5 cents is that the daylight just hits the first surface it encounters and stops, that's the only explanation for "switching" targets. Unless you have regions split just there at that point.

Let's hope someone who uses those a bit more comes up with an answer..

Cheers,

Igor
