AutoCAD - DWG Viewer & Editor

Hi,

Is there a way to find an AutoCAD - DWG Viewer & Editor or PC?  I have some co-workers that would like to see some info about my drawings.

Thanks

Hi,

I know.  That is why I am asking the question.  I have Civil 3D 2021.

Do you know the answer?

Thanks

Ok...

With all due respect.

Is there a way to find one? Free or not... please...  Cause, I have one on my Trimble TSC7 , and it's free.

Thanks

See if anything here fits your needs. I don't think there is anything that will work with Civil objects. Set PROXYGRAPHICS to 1 before saving the drawing.

Are they needing to make notes or actually work on the drawing? Because if it's just for making notes then use Design Review in conjunction with TrueView. You can then overlay the markup directly into AutoCAD.

As for finding a free program you're probably not going to be happy with what you find. Depending on what you're trying to accomplish why not use AutoCAD LT? It's not that expensive.

Hi,

I have Civil 3D 2021. I have some coworkers that want to read-only my drawings.

I guess True View 2018 would donthe job.

Thanks

Any reason why you don't take advantage of 2021's ability to share for markups by others without the program? Read about it here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2021/ENU/AutoC... and here https://www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/class/Lets-Collaborate-Sharing-and-Comparing-Drawings-A...

There is even more on offer in C3D2022 for just that task that you crave https://blogs.autodesk.com/autocad/autocad-2022/
