Hi,
What is the easiest way to draw an arch culvert of the following type? or there any other easy way to do this besides civil 3d? I need to make the plans and quantities for an arch culvert project.
Thank you.
Hello, @sanetdikkumbura1950!
Here in Brazil we are used to model these structures in Revit. In our workflows, this is easier than using Part Builder or Inventor workflows to model it in Civil 3D. In Revit, it is possible to set tables of quantities and drawings in different perspectives (front view, 3D view....). This is an example for a Box Culvert:
Hope it helps!
No problem, @sanetdikkumbura1950!
We get everything together in Navisworks to coordinate the designs, as it is able to import both DWG and RVT or IFCs. Therefore, the Revit model goes directy to Navisworks in our workflows. Another option is using Model Coordination tools from the Autodesk Construction Cloud like this: https://help.autodesk.com/view/BIM360D/ENU/?guid=GUID-38CC3A1C-92FF-4682-847F-9CFAFCC4CCCE.
Cheers,
