acre feet units

Is there any way in C3D to get a volume calculation in acre feet instead of cubic feet?

I guess to be more precise, where would I put the expression?

I would like to have it in a surface table.

Seriously. 🙂

The initial post discussion was what I'm looking for, but the discussion degenerated into a debate on imperial vs metric units.

There was never an answer to the question.

Yeah that was my fault wasn't it.
Anyway, the conversion factor is there for you, just a matter of where to put it.

The simple way is just type the conversion factor directly into the volumes dashboard, so instead of cut and fill factors of 1.000 change them to the decimal your're after. So if your dashboard is currently showing cu ft., type in 0.00002296 for the cut and fill factors and check the result.

[edit] if you need more decimals go to the drawing settings. Or if you want to be specific, edit the VolumeDashboard Surface command settings

Cheers
