Create Revit Analytical Model Object categories that correspond with at least CFD volume Material types.  Ideally, we would have Revit CFD Parameters associated with these analytical categories that would translate from Revit-to-CFD.  This would be similar to the Structural analytical model objects that currently exist in Revit.   This could facilitate more data than just the Revit object type name being imported into CFD when the model is launched in Revit.   I generally have to recreate or replace design families and geometry with idealized analytical families and geometry anyway.   This would really enhance Revit-to-CFD workflow and data management, as well as object organization and visualization.   Show More

I would like the ability for trace sets to retain their individual properties after a save/export action.   When traces are saved or exported it places them all in one trace set killing their separate trace properties. Upon reopening you cannot edit the sets individually anymore. Also when exporting they lose their properties in showcase and are all imported as one set of faceted cylinders. i.e. I cannot get a set of ribbon traces and a set of sphere traces in showcase, only one set of cylinders. Today we run the CFD to obtain results on what our mold will look like during the "heat-up" phase before we start simulating injection molding.     It would be nice if I could do this in CFD then transfer the full results to moldflow and start the molding process.  Today I have to look at the heat-up and take an average temperature that in reality does not account for all the cold spots and non-uniformity that is the result of our real mold.  Show More

Please include an Option for Job Management / Queue Setting for following:   I use a specific amount of cpu's for specific amount of licences.   Now I want to use all cpu's for a specific Job and want to leave more Jobs in the Queue. If sending now the Jobs via Job Manager into the  Queue, more Jobs will directly start as more licences are availalbe. To avoid this you have to Change manually the CFD setting.   Please include an Option for the CFD Server that it will check how many CPU's are used and then putting the rest of the Jobs automatically to the Queue.   Example: -2 licences available and configured, 64 cpu's: possible: 2 Jobs simultaneously (as Standard) with 32 cpu's each. -Now want to start 64 cpu-Jobs -> without Manual Change two Jobs starts with 64 cpu request...  (better: if Job started with 64 cpu, then put other Jobs to Queue although licences are available, if later on Standard Jobs with 32 cpu's are requested, then start two Jobs simultaneously again).   kippo Show More
