Today we run the CFD to obtain results on what our mold will look like during the "heat-up" phase before we start simulating injection molding.
It would be nice if I could do this in CFD then transfer the full results to moldflow and start the molding process. Today I have to look at the heat-up and take an average temperature that in reality does not account for all the cold spots and non-uniformity that is the result of our real mold.
