In the current design, if a user has access to folders with the same name (e.g. WIP) that are located in different parent folders to which the user does not have access, Desktop Connector will show the same folder name without any indication of the parent folder. For example: WIP (1), WIP (2), WIP (3), etc. This makes is very difficult to navigate the folder structure in case permission at the higher level cannot be granted.
It would be great to have a way to see the source (parent folder) of the subfolders. Some ideas might be:
- To show the entire folder path.
- To allow seeing the unique folder ID (if this can be displayed on a column, like the Status is displayed. This way a user could easily identify the folders).
- To introduce a way to have a folder description in BIM 360 and be able to see that in Desktop Connector.
Thank you!
