Bifrost develops lightning tool demo 1

HI,
Lightning tool developed using Bifrost 2.1 version point cloud. And, I used this tool to make the first demo. You need Bifrost 2.1 version and Rebel Pack 0.3.0 to run this tool.

This is only the first version, and I hope to update it in the future. My goal is to make it easy for everyone to create any type of lightning effect.
Of course, I also hope that the official BIfrost team can release better lightning tools in the future.

I upload the file here. And, I will upload it in the compound sharing area.

hello I am getting this error while using the lightning pack and Maya Bifrost version in 2.4 I have tried all the methods but still giving this error can anyone help me as i am new to the bifrost

I'm using maya2023 bifrost2.7.1

In my case "resamplestrands" is giving an error.

can someone please help?

is because there is a nan (an error) on that compound. Here is a fixed version for BF 2.7.1, 2.8,  etc...

Trying to open the lightning tutrial with Maya 2024, rebelpack 3 and 4, bifrost 2.6. The compound is all red. Is there a new version or it will only work with previous version of Bifrost?

The version I posted works with 2.7.1 and up. If you are using M 2024 then you can update to the latest without problems.

Hey i have un pb with imput3 and imput6 on my scatter point amount, help pls !

"scatter_points2", Error: while compiling top level compound 'bifrostBoard1', around the port 'bifrostBoard1::simulate_lightning::scatter_point2.amount' : no promotion exists from a value of type 'double' to a value type 'float'

Check the message above. I fixed a bug and posted the compounds. It should work for 2.7.1.1 and up

Hey Bruce. 

I'm having a problem with the lightning simulation. 

It seems some nodes are missing. 

I think there are 8 missing, but everything is so complex I can't identify it.

I know I downloaded all the required files. Your files and Rebel Pack 0.3.0.

Do you need more information?

I could really use the help. I really want to use your lightning. 

It'll be a perfect upgrade for my elemental characters.
