Hi team,   We are having major issues (reseller) with new licenses purchased by our clients constantly placing themselves into unsolicited teams.   The issue with new licenses placing themselves into unsolicited teams continues to be a major frustration as large chunks of my working days are spent on live chats getting these fixed.   Initially I thought that if a new seat was added to an existing contract, that seat would then place itself into the team that contract is aligned to - this seemed to be the case for a while. Where as additional seats that weren't added onto an existing contract, would trigger the creation of a new team.   Recently it seems to have been flipped on its head and now additional seats added to existing contracts have been placed into entirely new teams?   I have also seen new licenses placed into "new" contracts be pooled into an existing team, but then also new teams created on other occasions.   It's becoming unpredictable and we really need a better method of how new licenses are placed into teams...     Show More

Create a log/view when an admin invites and adds a user, assigns or unassigns a product to a user, or deletes a user from their team, account. Admins have voiced frustration about over not having this information, and don't know how the users / licenses may have got unassigned and reassigned to someone else, as their are many admins that might be controlling it.   With the transition to named users this type of information was available through 3rd party apps for network licenses.  Show More

For now one user can be assigned same product multiple times if he/she exists in different teams. This may cause customer lost available seats to assign product. In autodesk account, it is better to alert admin when they assign product to a user who has already granted same product in other teams. Or we should do some implements to avoid this issue happens Show More

Some users are not able to receive emails from Autodesk for some reason. They're missing emails like Get Started Email, Order Processed email, etc.   I'll suggest to build an inbox into Autodesk Account so that users can check emails there instead of their own outlook.     Show More

    The Good   Earlier in the year Autodesk provided a great new feature called Seat Reporting that became available to any user who is under the role of contract manager (CM) or software coordinator (SC) (or primary/secondary user under the newer system).   The Bad However, the exported CSV file does not show the same information found under the Seat Usage report when done directly on the Autodesk service site. Instead of providing an Autodesk username for each user in the report a column titled hashed_user_id in included.   The Change My understanding is that the hashed user id information does not change per user, so it is possible to identify which hashed_user_id field belongs to which user after careful comparison between user use times/dates and the report, however, it would be better if the proper username was displayed instead or along with the hashed_user_id during CSV exports.   Frank Lemus Graitec USA Show More

It would be great if admins could control what license version each user can access, and if part of a collection what products they have access to.  We can control this in some cases by removing admin rights on their computer but unfortunatley some users do require admin rights to perform certain tasks.  This results in some users upgrading as soon as a new version is released which is a particular problem if they're Inventor users. Currently, customers assigning users via bulk upload are not given the option to notify users when they have been assigned a seat of the product.  The solution would be to provide a check box option to notify all users being assigned a seat in the user invite/ assign seat flow.  Additionally adding a warning notification that by selecting this option it may take an extended amount of time to process request.  Ideally, the request could be submitted and work in the background and not lock up the Autodesk account while the upload is processing. On behalf of the customer report this: Currently, for users purchased AECC, each user will have 100GB cloud storage, But sometimes need to disable this cloud drive due to security reason. It would be better that provide an option in Autodesk Account portal to disable cloud storage for user. Show More

Every time a new batch of licenses is purchased, the contract admin (myself, in my case) is auto-assigned with one of the seats in the pool acquired. This makes no sense. Also, Autodesk's selection of which Team the new licenses acquired should go under appears to be random... I manage three teams in three different regions, each with its own Autodesk reseller, and it is anyone's guess under which team a new batch of licenses will appear under (often having to request a license to be moved to a different team). (This part seems to be mostly fixed by now. Drop a comment below if anyone else still has this issue.) Hi,   SSO (Single Sign On) which is available with Premium Plan and Enterprise Plan got last year in autumn (2021) an enhancement with Active Directory Group Sync. With Active Directory Group Sync you can sync your groups and users from your AD tenant, e.g. Microsoft Azure which is the most used IDP (Idenity Provider) as far as I know.   This idea is about to send an email to the primary administrator, and if possible configurable users that need the information when more users are synched to Autodesk Account within a synched group from the IDP than licenses are available. Hello, I would like to suggest the idea of a "sign out of (all) device(s)" feature in the security settings in the Autodesk account (https://profile.autodesk.com/security). Since Autodesk now mostly works on a model of *sign-in* licenses, it would be useful for users to be able to sign out of all devices as they often work on multiple machines. This would allow them to be sure that they are compliant with the terms & conditions by avoiding concurrent use on multiple machines. This feature is also present in all sorts of other online services offered by Google, Microsoft, PayPal, or Imgur (to name a few). The main purpose of this feature for these companies is to add one extra layer of security to their users' accounts. This sort of feature allows to remotely revoke an authentication token after changing the password of a potentially compromised account, and thus effectively kicking out any intruder. This could eventually be offered as a paid premium feature for admins wishing greater control of the licenses they assign to their users. The use-case of this feature would be: - User navigates to their profile settings page - Navigates to the security settings - There is either a button "sign out account of all devices" and all known devices will have to sign-in again - Or a list of known devices that are signed in (showing basic information to discern them such as device name and approximate location) - That list allows to selectively sign out specific devices Show More

Occasional/seasonal users are rarely aware of the workings of licensing and subscriptions/tokens, but as with any consumer product, they should be MADE aware of how much they are being charged for a service. Right now we cannot even think of implementing FLEX before Autodesk implements some control to notify users before tokens are consumed/charged, for two reasons: 1) Whenever the user launches an application, they need to know how many tokens will be charged (and possibly their cost with it); 2) Whenever an application is left running by accident, the user should be prompted their time is expiring and the application should close before charging for more tokens (imagine a seasonal user who is out on vacation but left Inventor running on his Windows user that is locked).   From the Flex license tutorial video (https://www.autodesk.ca/en/benefits/flex)   Please and thank you. Flex has zero ability to create notifications to an administrator. There's a few cases where configurable notifications would be nice....     1) Tokens Expiring - Most people know when their major products and services renew. Typically annual. Your reseller will reach out too. But because Tokens "burn" and "expire", we could have multiple Flex contracts all expiring an random dates that keep changing. Be nice to setup a notification to Email a Contract Manager 30-days (or configurable number of days) before a block of Tokens would expire should they not be used.    2) Token Balance Low - I'm told a notification is sent when Token balance is low but I don't know the specific or if this is actually the case. A configurable email notification to a contract manager would be helpful. As each organization will burn Tokens at differing rates, everyone will have a different number of tokens in a balance before they will renew. Companies with very low token usage can let their balance get low. Companies who consume larger amounts would want a higher balance to trigger a notification.    3) User Token Usage - We push infrequent users to Flex. However some users may go through occasional periods of of heavy usage. If they use it too much, it's actually more costly, As an example, our Engineers are typically infrequent users...Flex is great. But every now and then a project comes up and they'll be in multiple products daily. There's no way to when this occurs until it's too late. Notification rules that could be applied to Token users/assignment would help let a License Admin know if/when usage suddenly increases.    Show More

When adding users from User management>user tab, it says "Invitation sent!" although it only sends to new users, not existing ones. Is it possible to add/change a note something like "Users added. Invitation sent only to new users." as a sample screenshot?   Show More

Currently with the latest introduction to the Autodesk waiting room in the account portal, Primary Admins/Purchaser are the only individuals who can view and move New Subscriptions to a designated team in the account portal via the new waiting room feature. This creates an inconvenience for the secondary administrators who are truly facilitating the license management in the account portal, oftentimes the contract manager/purchaser for a customer/company is not managing the software but merely signing the check or issuing the purchase order to their reseller of record/partner. Allowing secondary admins to gain visibility of the waiting room and all new licenses that are purchased can help fill the gap that is currently missing with the new waiting room functionality which is meant to eliminate the cases that are created by partners or customers needing to move new purchases into the correct allocated team in the account portal.    Additionally, if there was a Power User Role that can be enabled it may be able to provide further rights or capabilities to admins who facilitate their end users software can help in this area.  Show More

In the new system of viewing and assigning accounts, we cannot assign a license to a user under a specific contract. We have multiple contracts for the same product (collection) and if we reduce the number of contracts in the future, we do not know who will cease to be licensed ... It is also necessary to manage licensing according to contracts, as was the case in the classic view. A license usage report would need to be refined down to the user usage level (what products each user actually uses to optimize licenses), similar to how you can track Enscape license usage. Show More
