IDENTIFY OWNER OF PIPE LINE

Dear Forum experts,

Can we fetch or get a report for the owner (modeler who has initiated or created new line no)?

Is there any way to get the report?

@ganesh_gCNKFB ,

no By default, this is not provided for in AutoCAD Plant 3D. There are various ways to create a pipeline - simply create a new one in the Plant 3D model, transfer it from the P&ID Line list or via external programmes such as PlantSpecDriven from auxalia or from the EDB from AXAVIA etc.
You can create a field in the P3D Line group in which you link the CAD user so that this could be set up.

Dear Sir,

By creating P3D Line group field "CAD USER" it will auto fetch the first creator user or need to fill the name of user manually?

You can reference the drawing.author property with an acquisition property, but that is static and gives no guarantee to match the active user.

Otherwise you would need to add code to do this. Which I think is overkill, do you have soo many different drafters working on a single .dwg that you need to be able to differentiate who created which object? I am not a big fan of this level of micro-managing. Or is there another specific reason why you need this information?

Sir,

We work on multiusers SQL project & sometimes need reports of "which modeler model certain pipeline hence raised this query.
