How to add grips using python scripting

    I'm a beginner in Plant 3d parametric component creation using python, I have doubt regarding adding the grips in custom components which I created using python scripting. can anyone help me in this topic..

you don't need to add grips, they are hardcoded and assigned to the respective components.

Actually I need to create supports with custom scripts, also need a flexibility of stretching it! will it possible with scripting?

You can add stretch grips with the setLinearDimension function.

Sir ,
It shows access denied for refer how to assign grip for custom component using python scripting.

I am new to custom script, I am trying to load component with grip points ,please help me to assign how to add grip points for stretching, moving, rotation to custom components.
I request you to give some sample script regarding how to assign grips.
