I've been scouring the forums and applied all the suggestions I've found for disabling gaskets being individually dimensioned on isometrics. I've got the Gasket Dimensioning dropdown set to Include in Component for every theme, I've gone through the XML and changed the AnchorPoint (Flange) filter from 'Flangelike' to 'Flange' for every theme, etc. At this point it seems like I've exhausted my options, at least as far as the fixes that have been recommended when this question has been asked in the past.
Does anyone know of something I might not have tried yet that could resolve this? We just want the gasket widths to be included in the overall dimension (as opposed to dedicated gasket dimensions) with a gasket indicator shown. It seems like this should be an easy setting to apply but apparently not. The obvious setting that should be controlling this, isn't.
Thanks!
Hello
Is this principle what you want to achieve?
An overall rating, including joints, with a G indicator, for example, to indicate that there is a joint.

Hello
Open the "IsoConfig.xml" file and check that for each theme, for each "Dimensions", the dimensional setting of the joint exists.
If this setting does not exist in a theme, create it. You can copy/paste a setting

@DVaquand Thanks for the suggestion. I copy/pasted the gasket theme to all categories of anchor points where it didn't already exist and ensured the settings matched your screenshot ('Global' checked, 'Enabled' unchecked). I tested and the isometrics still generate dimensions at every gasket. Just to test the isometric settings, I changed the gasket dropdown to 'Do not dimension' and there was no change to how gaskets were processed, it still generated a dimension at each one. It seems the gasket dimensioning settings are somehow disconnected from how the iso generator actually operates. None of the settings I change have any impact on how gaskets are managed.
Hello
Which Plant 3D version are you working on?
Do you have the opportunity to do a test on another style of ISO output, for example "Check A3" having taken care, in the project settings, to include the joints in the dimension of the component.
Can you also load the project in another version of Plant 3D to see?

@DVaquand I'm on Plant 3D 2022. Check A3 manages the gasket dimensions the way we want. For example, valve dimensions are shown from outside mating flange to outside mating flange, no gasket dimension, gasket symbols shown inside the dimension to indicate the gasket width is included.
Hello
I conclude that the iso output style has a problem.
Finding the error may take a long time.
Maybe recreate a new style starting from one that works and add your own parameters step by step...

Trouver l'erreur risque d'être long.

Was this project created in 2022?
Can you share the iso folder (for the xml, template, atr. etc) so we can test on our end?
@Michiel.Valcke Iso folder for the theme being used is attached. Thanks for taking a look into this. Gasket dimensioning seems to be inconsistent, some have a 1/8" dimension generated, others not.
I'll need to make an imperial project to thoroughly test this, (and add all the additional pipe line group properties that you are referencing in the iso.atr 🙂 )
But when looking at your isoconfig.xml I saw that your fitting to Fitting Gasket dimension option was still checked for the string dimensiontype, for all your different themes. I unchecked them all and saved the config. Try the result in attachment.
