I know I'm replying to something that's 6 years old.. but is the "output setting" no longer changeable?

I am experiencing the same issues as the original post - PDF is not centered and is not to scale.

engineary,

Currently, you are not able to select a plot style or deeply configure the PDF output.
Output from a layout will match the settings in the drawing
Output from Modelspace has some minor configurations.
Take a look at this help page: https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACADWEB/ENU/?guid=AutoCAD_Web_Help_Plottopdf_html

I hope this helps,

Jon

Hello @Anonymous

could the information provided by @acadhelp1  help you and answer your question?

Otherwise I recommend to plot via layout. I just ran a test on my side - the result is as expected when you plot a layout.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the info!  I have tried plotting via Layout, but I am unable to modify the Paper Size.  Could this be a browser issue?  I have tried in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge, but some options are just not click-able.

Where would I get to the Layout Properties?  I feel like I've right-clicked everywhere possible.

Hello @Anonymous

the command PAGESETUP is not available in the AutoCAD Web App.

When you create a new drawing in the AutoCAD Web App, the Layout1 and Layout2 are created as a

  • ISO A4 (210.00 x 297.00 MM) Landscape

Since changing the Page Setup is a limitation in the Web Application, I would recommend the following steps in combination with AutoCAD Desktop (if possible for you):

Saved at Web & Mobile

1. Open AutoCAD Desktop

2. Open the drawing from within your AutoCAD Dekstop Application with OPENFROMWEBMOBILE

open_save.png

3. Change the Page Setup via the command PAGESETUP

4. Use the command SAVETOWEBMOBILE to save your drawing again

5. Open the drawing in the Web Application and plot again with the new page setup.

Saved on an external storage provider

1. Open AutoCAD Desktop

2. Open the drawing from your external storage provider

dropbox.png

3. Change the Page Setup via the command PAGESETUP

4. Save your drawing

5. Open the drawing in the Web Application and plot again with the new page setup

Did the post helped you and answered your question? If yes, feel free to click on the button "Mark as Solution". Thus also other users can benefit from the information. In case you still need help please feel free to provide an update here so we as Community know how we can help you best moving forward.

Best regards,

Thomas

Thanks Tom!

Unfortunately, I created this drawing wholly within the web interface, and therefore could not edit the paper size for layout.  However, your answer appears to be the correct solution, so I am marking it as such.  Thanks!
