Switching between paper and model space

Hi,

I have recently upgraded to AutoCAD LT 2022.

When working in paper space, if I zoom in to an area where no viewport is visable and then double click, then I enter model space in a viewport that is off screen.

It seems like a bug in the new 2022 update.

Thanks in advance,

Matt

How is that a software bug? It sounds like you lost track of your viewports location, and they are also not created equally. If it was a bug in 2022, we'd all be able to recreate it.

Thawed/Turn On all of your layers and UNLOCK them all: confirm your empty space is really not inside a viewport outline.

If that is not how it works for you, please share your DWG file here.

There is a 2022.1 update that you also need to install, get it soon.

I already have the 2022.1 update.

If am zoomed in and double click I enter into model space in viewport I that isnt shown on screen. If i am zoomed out and double click in the same place, nothing happens. How is that not a bug?
