Script for Automating text labels in an array

Is there any way of automating text labels in a array in AutoCAD.

For example, assume I created a 3x4 text array as below:

Sky Sky Sky Sky

Sky Sky Sky Sky

Sky Sky Sky Sky

Could I run a script to append each array label such to 'label' + array#(Row,column):

Sky11 Sky12 Sky13 Sky14

Sky21 Sky22 Sky23 Sky24

Sky31 Sky32 Sky33 Sky34

Sky41 Sky42 Sky43 Sky44

How would you do that at the commandline? That's all a SCRIPT will do, repeat what you can do at the commandline, it adds no magic other than doing all the typing for you without the use of any pop-ups.
