Screen position changes after block edit

I have my UCS set at 0,0(World UCS) and is located in the lower left hand corner of my drawing.  The drawing is a floor plan of a manufacturing plant with several machines located throughout the plant floor.  Each machine is a block.  If I zoom to a specific machine location on the screen, click on the block to edit it, make changes, then save the and exit the block editor, the screen will always zoom back to the UCS location.  I then have to zoom extents, then zoom window or pan back to the block's location on the screen.

Why does Autocad LT not stay at the screen location that i was at before I started the block editor?

LT... which year as listed in ABOUT command? Your OS is...?

UCS command is actually set to WORLD, at the commandline?
What about PLAN command?

Is this is a problem that is limited to one single DWG file?
Or does it happen in ALL of your files across the board?

Did this just started happening today?
or has been ongoing for some time now?

Fist guess: UCSFOLLOW variable perhaps, looks like you want that turned off: usage is explained in HELP.

What version of LT are you using? Have you updated it with the latest patch?

Hi,

in your current viewport (whereever you start the bedit command ( you are talking about bedit?),

I guess the UCSFOLLOW setting is on (1)?
