Save as not working

2019 LT....I cannot "save as". The screen locks up every time and I have to hit "esc" to continue working. I can "save" but not "save as".

Help!!

Hi @Anonymous,  Is it just the one drawing saveas doesn't work?  You can use the WBLOCK command and select all objects and that will create a new drawing.

Lock up or you cannot see the dialog box ?

If you can't see the dialog box, it could be off the screen.

Locked up. I thing happens. I hit ESC to continue working but cannot save as.

Restore your autocad to default if it keep locking up.

Thank you, but no - it was the right link.
I thought the SaveAs dialog would be out of display, therefore the link to:
..start XY command, and:
The press [ALT]+[SPACE] then [M], now hit an arrow key like left or right arrow (not from the numpad), NOW the dialog hangs on the cursor

and you can move them with your mouse back to the visible screen (move mouse, without hit any key).

Could it be your pop-up is simply off-screen? https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Dialog...

Or are you seeing a long file location string at the commandline?
