Hi All

For the last few days the i keep getting an "Autocad cannot continue" message that shuts down LT. Any ideas as to why?

I have not been using anything different that before that may cause the issue.

Thanks in advance,

JB

What is your AutoCADLT version? Use ABOUT command if you can get into the program and let us know what it exactly says.

What is your Windows version? use this method https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13443/windows-which-operating-system

Is LT2018 fully patched and updated?
What triggers the error?
Is this a sudden and new error? Or only since you installed LT2018? Or only since you got Win10?

HI @Anonymous,

I am not surprised that you are seeing errors with your 2012 version as it is not designed to run in Windows 10.

With regards to your 2018 version, dos this happen with all drawings or just specific ones?

Please verify that you have applied all Windows 10 updates, that your graphics driver is current, and that you have applied all the fixes/updates from your Autodesk Desktop App.

If you log on as a new user does the problem continue?

Hi pendean

Yes LT2018 is up to date. Nothing in particular triggers it. It will work fine for a few minutes a then the error comes up. Happens with all files. LT2018 was working fine until a number of weeks ago when this just occurred. I was working on a large file when it first occurred but has continued with all sized files since then.
