plotting

I AM TRYING A 2019LT TO REPLACE MY 2009LT. AUTOCAD DOES NOT LIKE MY HP DESIGN JET 500 PLOTTER. iT SEES  IT BUT CANNOT SEND TO IT, IS THIS A DRIVER PROBLEM

I think it's an AutoCAD / HP handshake problem.

 

I have an HP Designjet 70 and HP Designjet 800PS both set up on my computer. AutoCAD does not talk to them at all.

HOWEVER if I create a PDF of the drawing, I can then print that PDF to either printer.
