Plotting in Model Space

When I plot in model space my drawing jumps off the page.

Here is a screen shot. What's going on?  I cannot figure it out.

The "What to Plot" is set to "Display", which can vary each time you go to print. If you must print from Model Space, then either select a print window or use a named view for best results.

When you choose DISPLAY for what to plot, you tell AutoCAD you really don't care about the result.

Use something more deliberate and more in control, if you want control: and watch that preview and offsets, they are telling you something important (red lines means you'll have shifting going on) like you're not going to like the results.

BTW why the old tired legacy troublesome "adobe pdf" driver? Try a PDF driver from your current installation software instead, like DWG TO PDF.

No, no.  Who said to use "Extents"?

Use the "Window" or "View" selection for "What to Plot"

Better yet, print from a layout, and set the "What to Plot" to "Layout" and forget about all of this nonsense of even having to set this.
