Newbie question - lost drop down menus

Hello. I am new to AutoCad, but enjoying it so far.
When I started using it, there would be a 'drop down suggestion menu on my cursor so that I could type 'J' for Join, and it would be automatically completed for me.
Also, when hovering over a drawing, the whole element (line) would highlight or glow, now only the start and end nodes 'glow'.

Probably something very simple, but I can't find / remeber which key I accidentally hit to change this setting.
Using AutoCAD LT 2023 on windows 11 pro

Sorted the Tooltip menu now (F12 toggle)
Still trying to work out the hover highlight question though, if anyone can help? Thanks.

You can also type DYNMODE at the command line to change it.

Thanks very much for this. I have had a look at SELECTIONPREVIEW and this is currently set at 3.
I am getting some sort of preview, just not the same as I was getting before. For lines, I just get the start and end, but for circles/arcs I get the whole thing glowing. Screengrabs attached.

Take a look at the command SYSVARMONITOR maybe this shows other variables you accidentally changed
