Import PDF Without "Exploding" File in Directory

Almost every time we import a (usually vectorized) PDF it explodes into individual elements/layers in its source folder.

Please advise on how to import a PDF without this occurring. Thanks.

Are they .png files? attached to your dwg?

This means 1.) the PDF content isn't vector, but raster data. 2. You enabled to import raster data too.

The problem is your PDF content - PDFIMPORT import vector data only (it doesn't convert raster to vector informations)

@alexQBDWT PDFATTACH command does what you state you want.
PDFIMPORT does what you see.
