Turn off your PDF reader's searchable text highlighting feature or use a 3rd party PDF driver with your LT2016.
There is no way to turn off this new LT2016 feature at the moment.

If you have a moment, oh into your subscription management page, start a support ticket, and complain bitterly about this new feature and demand they offer a way to turn it off. It's time for us regular users be heard over there in lala Autodesk land... .

If anyone is having issues with making PDF's and a bunch of little yellow text boxes are showing up, here is what you do.

One the line command in autocad, type EPDFSHX type in 0 that should shut them off completely, hope this helps.

it doesn't help if you need  searchable (SHX) Text in PDF.

PDFSHX/EPDFSHX on, creates comments and how they looking is dependend on your PDF viewer and comment-display setting.

blue, yellow, invisible, it is by your pdf program.

Since 2024 there is another setting(2)  to create invisible text instead comments.

@edward_guillen It has not been "epdf..." in many versions now, and starting in AutoCAD/LT 2024 there is a new setting that is way better
