Hi,

I have a question about multiple grid. Where it is coming from. It is annoying. How to erase it and/or how to avoid it?

If that is AutoCAD's grid, you can turn it off using F7 but that looks more like a graphics problem. Try turning off harware acceleration.

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Turning off Hardware Acceleration didn't work, still having sometimes that issue:

grid-issue.PNG

That is not only annoying, I have to create the drawing on the grid like that:

grid-sample.PNG

So, now I can very easy to deviate from the Grid, what is not acceptable.

I have to mention, that sometimes it is coming, sometimes it is going.

If someone experienced solving that issue, please help!!!

What triggered this issue: it this a new software installation?
A problem limited to one file?
First time using GRID in AutoCAD/LT?
A recent issue that suddenly appeared?

Your issue appears to be very random: sadly there is no fix for random occurrences.

What does ABOUT command list as your LT version and subversion?
What is your OS?
What are your settings for:
GRIDDISPLAY (System Variable)
GRIDMAJOR (System Variable)
GRIDMODE (System Variable)
GRIDSTYLE (System Variable)

Have you tried to ensure your file contains no issues by fixing it with RECOVER command?

>>>...now I can very easy to deviate from the Grid...<<<
What does that mean to the rest of us exactly?
Is your SNAP setting not the same as your GRID setting?

Here is the limits of the multiple grids. All grid setting is in line with the rest area:

We need answers to all the questions I posed: take the time to answer each and every item please.

You can stop posting screenshots in the interim: also ask your new employer about it all, it appears to be a lingering problem they never cared to solve.

Bottom corner of cad click on the arrow of snap mode go to your grid settings. and uncheck the 2D Model Space. If you can not see that arrow on the bottom right there should be 3 lines on top of each other click on it then click on snap mode and the Part A image should appear.

I unchecked 2D Model Space: multiple grid disappeared, but now the grid deviated from my drafting. It might be a good idea to set it up when I starting the drawing, however I can't use it with the existing drawing.

I accept your solution anyways.

If the grid deviates from your drafting, just move the elements of your drawing back onto the grid

Since there are electrical drawings, moving everything to the gird is a not a good idea. Some of the object's coordinates have been registered already.
