COPY ATTRIBUTE VALUE ON A TEXT ROW

Hello everyone,

I would like to draw my own section line as a block.

Section line letters will be entered as follow:

1) the first one as an attribute value;

2) the second one as copy of value of the first one, but in text format.

Is it possible?

I try to create a Text - Right Click - Field Insert - Object - Select Object - Select Properties (Attribute Value) - OK, but it doesn't work. Showed text is always ---.

Attached you can find what I try to do.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Thank you for sharing the file. It looks like your attribute only has a tag and prompt value, the default, or actual, value is blank.

When I added a value for Default, it updated in your field. I hope that helps.
