How to change color of dimension text with measure tool

Is there any way to change the color of the text displayed when using the measure tool (MEASUREGEOM)?

The only colors of objects you can control are in OPTIONS command's DISPLAY tab's COLORS button: and I do not see that one but you can check yourself.

Thank you - that was my first resort but as you said, did not see that
option.

You can change many of the system colors used from the "options" dialogue then click the "colors" button. From there select the elements you want to change, it's just a case of finding the correct elements.
