2D template of metal fume cupboard.

Hi,

I have been asked to dismantle a metal fume cupboard into its bare 4 sides, lid and base and create templates of these for manufacture at a later date by a customer of mine. I usually supply electrical drawings to said customer so this is a little out of my realm of normal work. As each individual piece is not perfectly flat like sheet metal I wondered if this is something I should be able to do on AutoCAD LT?

Any advice on this would be really appreciated.

You want to manually draw 2D flat drawings of all four sides? Sure, LT is the perfect tool.
Hoping to do something else? Explain.

Hi,

Each side isn't perfectly flat like sheet metal, the door for example has a 90 degree bend around the perimeter with a depth of 10mm. This is so the doorhas a lip that fits underneath the base if this make sense?

Wouldn't you need to draw it with the lips flattened out so it could be cut out for manufacturing?
