You are right, long time ago there was that feature in Windows version included.
In your first posts the note about vpmax / vpmin was missing..
CTRL+R is for toggeling between viewports in model space of floating viewport (and no maximized viewport).

The function should gone in 2015, and some other "problems" have come.

In 2015 the handling of program and file-windows was changed (in MS Windows versions).

Sorry

Your screenshot talks about using STATUS BAR BUTTONS

In current shipping/supported versions, you will notice the arrow buttons are missing at the status bar sadly

As described in HELP

Thanks for digging through to find the source information.

Hi @Anonymous,

Did you get the answer to your question? I made a quick video that shows CTRL-R being used to toggle between the viewports. If you are asking something different, please add some detail so I can help.

That's NOT what I'm asking about. Look at the previous post. It's the VPMAX and VPMIN NOT MSPACE or PSPACE. The feature that I'm talking about was only in v.2015 and below. They removed the icons from the VPMAX that was Next and previous. The only problem with the one you are describing is a feature that you have to be carefully with due to the rescaling of the vport. The VPMAX minimize the rescaling of the vport.

CADffm nailed it 100%.

You could lock your viewports. Then you wouldn't have to worry about the scale messing up
