In newer versions it only shows when you have a viewport active, and if its still not there you can turn it on/off from the customisation menu, use the bottom far right icon that looks like 3 bars in your layout, its the viewport scale option about halfway up the list.

Thanks.   'Viewport scale' is not an option on my 3 bar menu at the bottom of the screen.

These are the options -

Maximize Viewport

Annotation Visibility

Autoscale

(among others - but these are the only scale-related options that I see there)

Go inside a viewport in paperspace.
Post a screenshot of your entire AutoCAD program window and post it here is full resolution so we can see what you see on your screen.

Here is how to capture a screenshot and save as an image file in high resolution https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13776/windows-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots

Just to confirm, a viewport has to be active before those items show in the menu.

sure - no problem...

Before it was located in the upper righthand corner of my screen in the blank area next to the clipboard button.

as a separate dropdown menu.

You are describing the old VIEWPORTS toolbar, which is still around if you want to turn on toolbars and dock it up top.

I'm not sure it ever was a pulldown menu, that seems to be a lot of needless clicks to get to from what I can tell.
