What doesn't work exactly? CTRL+R has always and still does take you from inside one paperspace viewport to another in the same layout, including LT2017 and LT2018.

If you are positive this does not work in ALL layouts with multiple viewports in ALL files you have, let us know. If the problem is unique to one DWG file, post it here and tell us which layout you are having trouble with.

It does it with ALL drawings. The toggle doesn't work.

You do have to have one viewport active to start with, it won't work otherwise.

Go to your layout.
Enter your layout, be inside it.
Try CTRL+R again. if it fails, post a full screenshot of your program window while you stay/are in your viewport, I want to see your entire full screen as you see it.
This is how to do screenshots in WIndows for free https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13776/windows-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots

The one viewport is opened. I have at least 3 or more viewports. Plus I have the VP freeze for each viewport.

Example: I have Demolition and Renovated on one layout with each one unique from the others.

I'm using the Maximize Viewport. I know the older version of AutoCAD LT had the ability to switch between the viewport.

Ctrl+R does not work with a "Maximised viewport" You need to be in the normal paperspace view to use Ctrl+R

Where did the ability go? I used the switch between VPMAX almost all the time.

Not in that mode: you remember incorrectly about older versions.

AutoCAD LT 2017 for MAC has the ability to switch between viewports when you are in the VPMAX mode.

There is an image from the MAC version.

This ability was on the windows version at one time and I wish it was back on AutoCAD LT

Thats vpmax, something completely different

vpmax.jpg

If your not seeing it you need to turn the icon on from the customisation menu.

It's showing.

The only thing is different is that there is no arrows to go to the next or previous vports in the Windows version of AutoCAD LT. (I don't know if the full version of AutoCAD as it.)

I have multiple vports and I need to easily go between them without having to use the VPMIN then click on the other vports, then use the VPMAX  to get into that other vports.

I would like to have a toggle button to switch between vports when I am in the VPMAX window.

Ah, so you used to be on the MAC version? That's not an ability in the Windows versions of any AutoCAD variant, never has been.

The image from a AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2008 book.

AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2010

AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2011

AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2012

AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT 2013

2013 is the last version that had this feature.
